Immunisation 2015 Dates

Vaccination clinics for Grade 8 and Grade 10 students coming soon.
 
This year all Grade 8 and Grade 10 students are eligible to receive free vaccinations as part of Queensland Health’s annual School Immunisation Program.
 
Grade 8 students are being offered vaccination to protect against:
o    Diphtheria, Tetanus & Whooping Cough
o    Chickenpox
o    Human Papillomavirus
Grade 10 students are being offered vaccination to protect against:
o    Diphtheria, Tetanus & Whooping Cough
 
The vaccinations will be conducted by a team of registered nurses specially trained in immunisation.
 
A consent form for each vaccine offered has be given to your child to bring home. Please note that no child will be vaccinated without parental consent. Please read the information carefully, sign the consent form and return it to the school by Monday the 9th of March.
 
You are strongly advised to take this opportunity to have your child vaccinated against serious vaccine-preventable diseases whilst they are being offered for free.
