DETE International Function

Trade Training Centre Hosts DETE International Function
On the weekend the Trade Training Centre proudly hosted the DETE International function.  This is an honourable event that brings together teachers and students from all over Queensland to learn about the Anzac Legacy.  Students and teachers have the opportunity to travel to Gallipoli and the Western Front battlefields to learn about the Anzac tradition firsthand.  Our very own Deputy Principal George Bartlett and School Captain Lycharne Parkinson have both been selected to attend this memorable experience.
At 9:45am we had Erin and Olivia on the frontline, preparing coffees for our guests.  As the coffee line grew our two grade twelve hospitality students dug their heels in, remained focused and worked very hard to supply the coffee demand.  DETE International has contacted the school to commend the girls on their level of professionalism and barista skills.  The girls received endless compliments and showed all the schools in Queensland what Beenleigh State High School can do; we achieve, we care, we are responsible.
